1. Pursuant to the provisions of reference (a) Subject, hereinafter
referred to as Petitioner, filed enclosure (i) with this Board
requesting, in effect, that the applicabie naval record be corrected
to show reimbursement of commercial airfare ticket.
2, The Board, consisting of Mr. gsalman, Mr. George, and Mr. Ruskin,
reviewed Petitioner’s allegations of error and injustice on
14 July 2014 and, pursuant to its regulations, determined that the
corrective action indicated below should be taken on the available
evidence of record. Documentary material considered by the Board
consisted of the enclosures, naval records, and applicable statutes,
regulations and policies.
3. .The Board, having reviewed all the facts of record pertaining to
Petitioner’s allegations of error and injustice, finds as follows:
a. Before applying to this Board, Petitioner exhausted all
administrative remedies available under existing law and regulations
within the Department of the Navy.
b. In correspondence attached as enclosure (2), the office
having cognizance over the subject matter addressed in Petitioner's
application has commented to the effect that the request has merit and
warrants favorable action.
CONCLUSION
Upon review and consideration of ali the evidence of record, and
especially in light of the contents of enclosure (2), the Board finds
the existence of an injustice warranting the following corrective

a. Petitioner’s BUPBRS Order 0742 dated 14 March 2012,
executed on or about 11 May 2012, ig modified to reflect the removal
of the following paragraph: “TRAVEL VIA GOVERNMENT AIR/GOVERNMENT
PROCURED AIR DIRECTED OUTSIDE CONUS." Note: all other annotations
remain the same.
b. As a result of this change, Petitioner will be reimbursed the
commercial airfare ticket(s) not to exceed $1,382.89. Note:
Petitioner transferred from CNSWG ‘THREE, D: or about 11
May 2012, and arrived to S NAVSCOL, on 12 May 2012.
Furthermore, Petitioner transferred from school on. 25 May 2012, and
arrived to AS 39 on 29 June 2012.
